TARGET 2028 LOS ANGELES
Su İnal, our pride and joy, began her swimming career in 2017 at the age of 8, competing in the International Arena AquaKids Swimming Championships. She has consistently improved herself through her participation in our championships, achieving 4th place in the World Junior Championships in 2024 and becoming the European Junior Champion in 2025.
Her goal for 2026 is to become both the European and World Junior Champions. Meanwhile, she is ranked 52nd out of 200 athletes in the elite category published by the World Swimming Federation, and at 15 years old, she holds the title of being the youngest athlete. Our athlete, who has an extremely bright future, is 180cm tall and possesses genetic characteristics rarely found in our country. In 2025, in line with our shared vision with the Dutch Ambassador Mr. Joep Wijnands and the AquaChallenge management, we agreed on a long-term project with the legendary athlete Sharon Van Rouwendaal, whom we hosted as a Guest of Honor in our country. Within the scope of a project that we believe will make significant contributions to cultural and sporting cooperation between the Netherlands and Turkey, together with our esteemed Ambassador Mr. Joep Wijnands, Sharon Van Rouwendaal will share her unique experience with Su İnal for 3 years, and the two will prepare together for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics.
